Detailed Travel plan
Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Murchison falls national park with stop at ziwa rhino sanctuary.
You will be picked up by Shamarira Africa safaris tour guide who will then brief you about your 3 days trip, later you will embark on a drive to Murchison falls national park through the Kampala – gulu highway, you will may have your first stop in Luweero to pick up a few tasty pineapples. You will later proceed northwards to Nakasongola district , where you will branch to Zziwa rhino sanctuary. Finish with the entry clearances and later head for rhino tracking experience which will take 1 hour .
Withdraw from the tracking exercise and head for lunch at kabalega dinners. After lunch head continue to Murchison falls national park , upon arrival at the park gate you will finish with the necessary clearances and later enter the park, it will take another 1- 2 hours drive to get to youe accommodation, the drive will subject you to views of wildlife . upon arrival you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive at the park and afternoon boat cruise on the Nile.
Start you morning with breakfast at the lodge and proceed to the park, later head to the park in search for animals, start your count as you see elephants, Uganda kobs, water bucks , buffaloes, oribis , giraffes, warthogs , chances of lions , leopards together with birds species. Later exit the game drive and head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Later in the afternoon, you will transfer to the bridge area where the boats dock catch your boat and head for a scenic boat cruise with view of elephants, crocodiles, birds, hippos among others. later exit and transfer back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Visit top of the falls and transfer to Kampala.
Bid farewell to your stay by having hot breakfasts and check out the lodge, you will visit the top of falls to see the world’s most powerful water falls and later embark on drive to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight back home.
